Disclosure announce Minecraft event for forthcoming 'Energy' album

Disclosure will release their new studio album Energy this Friday, and they’ll be offering fans an unique experience thanks to one of the world’s biggest video games.
The electronic act announced The Energy Minecraft Experience, which begins on the album’s release date. Disclosure will have their own special Minecraft server where fans will enter a world based on the album. In this world, fans can find 13 hidden records, including 8-bit reworks of Disclosure’s biggest hits.
The server will be live for a week, but if fans miss out, the map will be available for download afterwards. The only way to experience this is through the Java Edition of Minecraft, which can be downloaded here. A trailer for the event can be seen below.
Energy, which can be pre-ordered/pre-saved here, features the previously released singles “Know Your Worth,” “Ecstasy,” “Energy,” “My High,” and “Douha (Mali Mali).” This is the follow up to their 2015 studio album Caracal, which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronica Album.
Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
