Botanist announce new album 'Photosynthesis,' release new single "Water"

Bay Area metal group Botanist have announced their new album Photosynthesis.
Revealed today, the 8-track release revolves various aspects of photosynthesis. The band’s first single “Water” can be heard below. Photosynthesis marks the debut of bassist Tony Thomas, who plays with Botanist drummer Daturus in the bands Dawns Of Ouroboros and Sentient Ignition. The album was produced by Dan Swanö (Opeth, Millencolin) at Unisound AB.

Photosynthesis will be released on October 30 through The Flenser. This is the follow up to Botanist’s 2019 studio album Ecosystem.
