Culinary adventure game Beastro gets new release date

Timberline Studio’s culinary adventure game Beastro needs a bit more time in the oven.
Revealed yesterday, the game is now slated for a June 11 release on Xbox Series X|S (including day one on Game Pass), PlayStation 5 and PC (via Steam). Beastro was originally set for a May 21 release. A new release date trailer can be seen below.
A synopsis for Beastro reads:
In Beastro, players will discover Panko, a young and talented chef, as he steps up to run the local eatery after his mentor mysteriously disappears. Panko is soon drawn into something far bigger than the life of a standard chef, taking on the responsibility of preparing vital meals for the Caretakers, a group of adventurers fighting to protect the world beyond the village walls.
At the heart of Beastro is its unique gameplay loop, where every dish you make serves a purpose beyond the plate. The meals you make become cards that power the Caretakers abilities, which players use in strategic, deckbuilding combat encounters that play out in adorable, puppet theatre style battles.
Beyond the heat of the kitchen, players will explore a vibrant village hub where Panko must gather ingredients, farm, fish, and manage resources to make sure meals can be made. Progression comes from discovering new recipes and experimenting with ingredient combinations, unlocking new ways to support the Caretakers on their journeys.
Beastro can be wishlisted here.
