Crunchyroll Expo 2020 has been cancelled

Crunchyroll Expo won’t happen later this year due to the coronavirus epidemic.

“The health and safety of our fans, attendees, exhibitors, guests and staff is our number one priority and given the unpredictable nature of the COVID-19 virus, we believe this is the right decision,” the Crunchyroll Expo team said in a statement. The folks behind the convention will still bring some fun underneath the Crunchyroll Expo banner this year.

Badge holders can apply to get a refund here. Badge holders can also transfer their badges to next year’s installment, which will take place at the San Jose Convention Center on August 6 - August 8, 2021. More information on next year’s installment will be released in the forthcoming months.
