Influential metalcore band Converge will deliver their 11th studio album in February.
Revealed yesterday, Love Is Not Enough will be released on February 13 via Deathwish/Epitaph. To celebrate the announcement, Converge unveiled the title track alongside a music video directed by George Gallardo Kattah. The visual can be seen here.
Vocalist Jacob Bannon said this about the new song:
"[“Love Is Not Enough”] explores what it means to remain empathetic and compassionate in the modern world. A reckoning with who we are today and hope to be in the future— if we can fend off the scavengers."
Pre-orders for Love Is Not Enough can be made here. The 10-track album follows Converge’s 2021 studio album Bloodmoon: I.
Converge will perform at Boston’s Saddest Fest on Saturday, December 13. The one-day event will also feature performances from bands such as Touché Amoré, Coalesce, and The Hope Conspiracy. $5 for every ticket sold will go towards Boston-based The Shout Syndicate, which raises money for youth arts projects in the city. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here. More information about The Shout Syndicate can be found here.
