Clash of Clans gets Netflix animated series

A new animated series based in the worlds of Clash of Clans and Clash Royale is heading to Netflix.
Revealed today, Supercell will join forces with the popular streaming service for a new series currently in pre-production. Fletcher Moules, who worked on the original Clash of Clans animated videos on YouTube, will be the showrunner for the Netflix series. Ron Weiner (Silicon Valley, 30 Rock, Futurama, Arrested Development) will be the head writer. ICON Creative Studio (Monsters at Work, Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures) will work on the animation.

Clash of Clans and Clash Royale have earned a combined four billion downloads and 180 billion gameplay hours. Clash of Clans previously had collaborations with the WWE, Erling Haaland, and Liam Neeson.
