City Block Builder gets Steam Early Access release delayed
Those looking to try out City Block Builder will have to wait a little while longer.
Today, it was revealed the city builder would not see its planned September 22 release. A new release date hasn’t been revealed, but the game is slated to arrive before 2021 is over.
Tentworks Interactive CEO Jay Basani said this about the delay:
“We sincerely apologize for the delay, but we want to ensure that if we’re charging people money for our game that it’s in a polished, playable state. We realize that this is an inconvenience, but we'd rather provide our community with the best experience possible, and that means delivering a pristine product devoid of any major bugs. We really appreciate your patience with us at this time, and can’t wait to bring you the best version of City Block Builder possible. Thank you!”
In City Block Builder, the player has to run several businesses in 1950s Los Angeles. The game was featured as one of our favorite titles seen at PAX West 2021. A new gameplay overview video can be seen below. The game can be wishlisted on Steam right now.
