Chameleons delivered a new song from their forthcoming album Arctic Moon yesterday.

The track "Saviours Are A Dangerous Thing", which can be heard here, was the final song completed for the forthcoming release. Vocalist/bassist Vox said this about the new tune:

“I’m particularly pleased with the way it turned out, because it was [guitarist] Stephen Rice that initially brought the rough idea to the table, and we all then collaborated on the idea to produce the final song.

The melody and lyrics came to me quite quickly. They reflect what has happening globally and how senior officials could be seen lining up to kiss the ring of this clown, who seemed to regard himself more as a self-proclaimed king than an elected official.”

Arctic Moon is slated for a September 12 release via Metropolis Records. Pre-orders for the record can be made here. Chameleons will support the record with a trek alongside Psychedelic Furs as well as their own headlining tour. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.
