A synopsis for Austensibly Jane: A Winter's Tale reads:

Austensibly Jane is an entirely improvised play in the style of a Jane Austen novel. With much wit and heart, the cast blends regency-era charm with modern sensibilities to create a delightful love story over the course of two acts! Featuring fierce heroines, amiable suitors, and dashing gentle-thems, audiences will swoon as they experience all the classic elements of Jane as modern love stories unfold before their eyes. Perfect for fans of Jane Austen, Bridgerton, and Mary & George. Select shows will include a tea service!

As winter blankets the English countryside, hearts open in unexpected ways. Guests gather for seasonal festivities, where simple moments—a shared carriage ride, a dance by firelight, a thoughtful gesture—become the catalysts for profound change.

These improvised Austen stories follow characters on the cusp of self-discovery as they navigate the tender, often humorous lessons of love. In a season defined by warmth in the cold, each character must decide what (and who) truly matters.

Outside In Theatre is located on 5319 York Blvd. More information about this theatre can be seen here.
