A Solo Leveling anime film is in development

After two seasons, popular anime series Solo Leveling will hit the big screen.

Revealed yesterday at Anime Expo, Solo Leveling: Beyond the System is a feature film currently in development. The film is being animated by A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online) and produced by Aniplex, Netmarble, D&C MEDIA, Kakao piccoma, and Crunchyroll. More information about the film will be released soon.

The first two seasons of Solo Leveling can be viewed on Crunchyroll right now here. A synopsis for the show reads:

They say whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, but that’s not the case for the world’s weakest hunter Sung Jinwoo. After being brutally slaughtered by monsters in a high-ranking dungeon, Jinwoo came back with the System, a program only he could see, that’s leveling him up in every way. Now, he’s inspired to discover the secrets behind his powers and the dungeon that spawned them.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker.
