A Minecraft Movie: Block Party Edition will allow fans to sing along and meme in theaters

Following a trend of Minecraft fans getting a bit rowdy while watching A Minecraft Movie in theaters, Warner Bros. will allow fans to showcase their love for the popular video game this Friday.
Announced today, A Minecraft Movie: Block Party Edition will hit movie theaters across North America. This screening will let fans meme and sing along while the film is screening. This is similar to Wicked’s recent sing-along theatrical release following complaints of fans singing along to the film in the theaters.
A synopsis for A Minecraft Movie: Block Party Edition reads:
Calling all Steves! Even if you’ve seen A MINECRAFT MOVIE (and if you haven’t, now’s the time!), you haven’t seen it like this! Get tickets now for A MINECRAFT MOVIE: BLOCK PARTY EDITION! Warm up your vocal chords, it’s time to SING ALONG (and wait for it: 3…2…1… MEME, too!) with Jason Momoa, Jack Black and the entire gang in the beautiful, blocky Overworld (and beyond). Follow four misfits (and Steve) through the film’s musical Minecraft universe, where creativity (and now, singing!) is essential to survive.
Tickets for A Minecraft Movie: Block Party Edition can be purchased here. Released earlier this month, the film has grossed over $800 million, which makes it the second-highest-grossing video game film behind The Super Mario Bros. Movie ($1.3 billion). A sequel is in the works.
