Halloween in Los Angeles has always been a huge time for trick-or-treaters of all ages. With the spooky day being on Friday, even more celebrations are being held at various venues. We look at 10 exciting events going down on Halloween in Los Angeles.
Holy S**t Improv @ UCB Theatre (5919 Franklin Ave.)

Holy S**t Improv is going dark with their special Halloween performance at UCB Theatre. The improv group will do the entire set with the lights off, which will lead to some chaotic moments. The lineup for this performance includes Tim Baltz, Allison Tolman, Keiko Agena, Jiavani, Jacquis Neal, Casey Feigh, Anna Bezahler, and Isabella Escalante. Livestream tickets will also be available. The lineup is subject to change.
Twin Temple @ The Wiltern (3790 Wilshire Blvd.)

Los Angeles' Satanic doo-wop band Twin Temple will celebrate Halloween with a special headlining performance (and only show of 2025) at The Wiltern. The band's last studio album was 2023's God is Dead. L.A. Witch and Midnight Cowgirls will be the opening acts.
WHY? @ Scribble (5541 York Blvd.)

Alternative hip hop band WHY? will have a special intimate performance inside Scribble. 2025 marks the 20th anniversary of WHY?'s album Elephant Eyelash, and they're celebrating with a special reissue of the album on vinyl (pre-orders can be made here). Georgia Maq will be the opening act.
Carrie @ The Elysian (1944 Riverside Dr.)

The Elysian will host a special stage adaptation of the classic film Carrie featuring Mikki Yamashiro, Jason Black, Kat Toledo, Amy Von Harrington, Ian McPherson, Peach Peters Gilmore, Veronica Moonhill, and Jess Hemingway. The stage adaptation will also take place on October 30 at the venue.
Stand Up and Clown @ The Elysian (1944 Riverside Dr.)

Usually taking place on Mondays, Stand Up and Clown will have a special Halloween appearance. Clown Boss Chad Damiani will guide a handful of comedians through their first-ever clown performance. Aliki, Aaron Branch, Jade Catta-Preta, Ray Lau, Peter Kim, Leonard Smith Jr, Jasmin & Zion, and Christina Catherine Martinez will appear.
Dead From Dynasty @ Dynasty Typewriter (2511 Wilshire Blvd.)

Co-hosted by Jamie Flam and Vanessa Ragland, Dead From Dynasty will deliver a packed variety show at Dynasty Typewriter. Attendees can expect to witness comedy, music, a séance, and a costume contest. Some of the confirmed names for the event include Brent Weinbach, Tony Sam, Becky Poole, Michael Serwich, and Rasputin's Marionettes.
Pixel Grip @ El Rey Theatre (5515 Wilshire Blvd.)

Chicago electropop band Pixel Grip will headline El Rey Theatre in support of their new studio album Percepticide: The Death of Reality. Psymon Spine will be the opening act.
Well Dressed - A Night of Stand Up Comedy & Live Jazz @ The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel (7000 Hollywood Blvd.)

The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel will host one of the most glamorous celebrations of Halloween featuring a dazzling combination of comedy and jazz. The official comedian lineup will be unveiled soon. There will be a $30 food and beverage minimum for each person. Cocktail attire is recommended for this occasion.
SAW The Musical: The Unauthorized Parody of Saw @ The Hudson Theatre Mainstage (6539 Santa Monica Blvd.)

SAW The Musical: The Unauthorized Parody of Saw will have a special Halloween performance, and tickets are running low for this one. Premiering off-Broadway in 2023, the musical based on the popular horror franchise has earned rave reviews from critics and fans across the country. The Los Angeles shows will run through January 11.
Urban Death @ Zombie Joe's Underground Theatre Group (4850 Lankershim Blvd.)

Urban Death has been celebrating its 20th anniversary with a slew of chilling shows at Zombie Joe's Underground Theatre Group this month. Halloween will be one of the last chances to catch the performance live. Shows will take place at 8 p.m., 9 p.m., 10 p.m., 10:45 p.m., and 11:30 p.m. The final shows will take place this Saturday (November 1).
