G4 announce Reddit AMA for Friday

Last week, video game fans were shocked at the announcement of G4’s revival. As expected, there’s plenty of questions going through their minds. Fortunately, they’ll be able to get some answers later this week.

Former G4 host and current VP of Content Partnerships and Brand Development Blair Herter will hold an AMA over on G4’s official subreddit. Herter hosted Attack of the Show!, X-Play, and American Ninja Warrior. The AMA will take place this Friday (July 31) at 12 p.m. PST.

G4 is slated to return sometime in 2021. The channel will run under sports and entertainment company Comcast Spectacor, which owns the Philadelphia Flyers and Philadelphia Fusion.

G4 to make a grand comeback in 2021

Beloved video game network G4 will make a huge return next year.

Yesterday, the company tweeted out a mysterious video with the caption “We never stopped playing.” As reported by Variety, the network will return under sports and entertainment company Comcast Spectacor, which owns the Philadelphia Flyers and Philadelphia Fusion.

G4 was shut down in 2014 by NBCUniversal Media after a 12-year run. During its time, the network brought forth a slew of on-air talent that would go on to do bigger things, including actress Olivia Munn and The Game Awards founder Geoff Keighley.

People can head to G4’s website for a nice game of Pong.
