Nintendo 64 hit Shadow Man getting 2021 remaster for PC and consoles

1999 classic Nintendo 64 game Shadow Man is getting remastered for modern consoles.

Announced today, the remaster is being handled by Nightdive Studios. The studio is best known for their remasters of Turok, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, and Forsaken. “Our goal with the remaster is to give today’s generation of gamers all the features that they expect from a modern title while preserving the qualities that made Valiant’s iconic character and the original Shadow Man game such memorable classics to begin with,” Nightdive Studios CEO Stephen Kick told IGN. Aside from updated graphics, this version will include content left out of the original game.

Fans can expect the remaster to drop next year via PlayStation 4, XBox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Overwatch announce new hero Echo

Today, Blizzard Entertainment have released the origin story of new Overwatch hero Echo. The hero was created Overwatch founder by Dr. Mina Liao. You can check out the brief visual below.

The character was first seen in the Reunion animated short, which introduced Ashe in the game. Echo made another appearance during the Overwatch 2 short Zero Hour. As expected, players will be able to test out Echo in the Public Test Region very soon.

Currently, the Overwatch Archives event is happening until April 2. Players will be able to take on tougher challenge missions this time around. Until tomorrow (March 19), players will have the chance to gain a new Symmetra Epic skin by winning nine games in Quick Play, Competitive Play, or Arcade.

Call Of Duty to launch free battle royale tomorrow

Call of Duty are officially throwing their hat in the popular battle royale genre.

Today, Activision announced plans to drop the new battle royale game titled Call of Duty: Warzone tomorrow. You can watch a trailer for the game below. Call of Duty: Warzone will include two game modes. Plunder will find teams trying to collect the most loot in the city of Verdansk. The second game mode is the traditional battle royale, which will feature up to 150 players on one map. More information about the game can be found here.

If you own Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the game will arrive at 10 a.m PST for PlayStation 4, XBox One, and PC owners. If you don’t have the game, you’ll be able to download it at noon PST. As expected, the downloads will be quite large. Modern Warfare owners can expected to download around 18 to 22 GB. Folks without Modern Warfare will have to download between 83 to 101 GB.

Harmonix announce new DJ game Fuser, demo available at PAX East this weekend

With the massive success of Dance Central and Rock Band, Harmonix will dive into the world of DJing with Fuser.

Announced today, the game will find the player showing off their DJ skills at a virtual music festival. In order to keep the crowd happy, you must deliver the best set possible. While the campaign mode will challenge the player, the game will also feature multiplayer mode and freestyle play.

Over 100 songs will be available to mix at your pleasure. 16 songs have already been announced, including Post Malone’s “Better Now” and The Clash’s “Rock the Casbah.” The official trailer and some gameplay footage can be seen below. Fans can sign up for the newsletter here for updates.

Harmonix will bring Fuser to PAX East this weekend for fans to test out. The game will arrive on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, XBox One, and PC this fall.

The Terminator arrives to Ghost Recon: Breakpoint on January 29

Ubisoft revealed today the inclusion of The Terminator in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint on January 29. The character will be involved in a limited time event, but there’s no details about the event at this time. It could be similar to 2017’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, which had players trying to hunt The Predator. You can check out a teaser for The Terminator’s arrival below. Ubisoft announced The Terminator’s appearance at last year’s E3.

This will be the third video game appearance from The Terminator within a year. The character appears as DLC on Mortal Kombat 11 and Gears 5. Back in November, the character returned to movie theaters with Terminator: Dark Fate, which is the proper follow up to 1991’s Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The film grossed $261 million worldwide.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is out on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Stadia, and Microsoft Windows. The game won for Best PC Game at Gamescom last year.

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics to be released on February 4

Originally slated for a 2019 release, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics will arrive early next year. Today, BonusXP and En Masse announced the game will hit stores on February 4 on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac. You can check out the announcement trailer below.

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics will include 50 missions with 15 playable characters. Many noticeable faces from the recent Netflix series and the beloved 1982 film will be on hand. You can get more updates about the game on its website.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD heads to PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam

It’s been very quiet in the Super Monkey Ball camp, but today, Sega revealed plans to unleash Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD this fall. The game is a remake of the 2006 Wii launch title. The original Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz featured 100 levels with eight boss bottles. You can check out the announcement trailer below.

The remake is slated to be released on October 29 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. For Steam users, this will drop in winter 2019. Pre-orders for the console versions are live here.
