YOASOBI announce headlining shows in Los Angeles and San Francisco
Breakthrough J-pop act YOASOBI have announced a pair of headlining shows surrounding their forthcoming appearance at Coachella.
Revealed today, the act will headline Los Angeles’ Shrine Expo Hall on April 18 and The Warfield in San Francisco on April 21. Tickets for both Los Angeles and San Francisco shows will go on sale to the general public this Friday at noon PST. Crunchyroll pre-sale tickets will go live tomorrow (February 22) at 9 a.m. with the code “CRUNCHYROLL.”
Both headlining shows are sponsored by anime streaming service Crunchyroll. YOASOBI will perform at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards, which will take place at the Grand Prince Hotel ShinTakanawa in Tokyo on Saturday, March 2. Aside from performing, YOASOBI are nominated at the ceremony for Best Anime Song and Best Opening Sequence for their song “Idol,” which is the theme for the anime series Oshi no Ko. At the 2022 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, they were nominated for Best Opening Sequence ("Kaibutsu") and Best Ending Sequence ("Yasashii Suisei").
