Yndi, who is best known for their work under the moniker Dream Koala, has revealed details on their debut album.
Announced today, Noir Brésil will be released on May 28 via Nascimento/Grand Musique Management. To celebrate the announcement, an animated music video for the track “Novo Mundo” has been released. The lovely visual was directed by Nina-Lou Giachetti. The director said this about the new music video:
“A reflection of Brazil, through luminous, colorful landscapes and its beliefs… I sought the evocation of the divine, the beauty and the violence of nature, like Yndi's album.”
“Novo Mundo” recently appeared in the Introdução EP, which also includes the tracks “Dia de Carnaval” and “Amazona.” All three tracks will be featured in Yndi’s debut album.
As Dream Koala, the artist unveiled three EPs and released the popular single “We Can’t Be Friends,” which gained over 30 million streams on Spotify.
