WWE's Monday Night Raw heading to Netflix in 2025
One of the most prolific shows on cable TV is making the jump to streaming.
Announced today, WWE’s Monday Night Raw will land on Netflix starting in January 2025. The streaming service will livestream the iconic program every week in the United States, Canada, U.K. and Latin America. Netflix will also air Premium Live Events, Smackdown, and NXT for audiences overseas. Peacock will remain the home for Premium Live Events in the United States.
Netflix Chief Content Officer, Bela Bajaria said this about the announcement:
“We are excited to have WWE Raw, with its huge and passionate multigenerational fan base, on Netflix. By combining our reach, recommendations, and fandom with WWE, we’ll be able to deliver more joy and value for their audiences and our members. Raw is the best of sports entertainment, blending great characters and storytelling with live action 52 weeks a year and we’re thrilled to be in this long-term partnership with WWE.”
Mark Shapiro, TKO President and COO also said:
“This deal is transformative. It marries the can’t-miss WWE product with Netflix’s extraordinary global reach and locks in significant and predictable economics for many years. Our partnership fundamentally alters and strengthens the media landscape, dramatically expands the reach of WWE, and brings weekly live appointment viewing to Netflix.”
This major move will follow WWE Smackdown’s move to USA Network this fall and NXT’s jump to the CW Network, which also happens in the fall.
Since 1993, Monday Night Raw has been one of cable TV’s most exhilarating live shows with millions of people tuning in weekly to see exciting matches and ever-changing storylines.
