William Ryan Key has released a new tune from their forthcoming Everything Except Desire EP today.
The track “Brighton,” which can be heard below, is one of the longest songs Key has written in their career with a length of six minutes. Key said this about the new cut:
“The baseline of this song bounced around in my head for days. The verses are rhythmic and complex while the chorus just soars. This one is for driving at night with nowhere specific to go.”
Pre-orders for Everything Except Desire, which will be released on February 11 via Equal Vision Records, can be made here. This will be the follow-up to Key’s 2018 EPs Thirteen and Virtue.
