Nashville crossover thrash band Waxed have delivered their new song “Big Blind” today.

Vocalist Luc Richards said this about the new single, which is out right now via Missing Piece Records:

“‘Big Blind’ is a song about dominating personal shortcomings by whatever means necessary and failing even still. Wherever you go, there you are. We feel like the song stays true to our sound but also represents our ever evolving approach to songwriting. We write the music that we want to hear and strive to never lock ourselves in a box creatively.”

The song comes a day before Waxed open for Jack White at The Pinnacle in Nashville this Friday (April 18). Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
