Wavves announce 'King of the Beach' 10th anniversary tour

Earlier this week, indie rock group Wavves got Australian fans excited when they revealed plans to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of King of the Beach on tour. Yesterday, they revealed their North American plans for this special trek.

The North American leg of the tour kicks off on April 10 inside Phoenix’s Rebel Lounge, and it’ll conclude with a performance inside The Wiltern in Los Angeles on May 18. Sadgirl, who are promoting their debut album Water, will be the sole opening act on the whole tour. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday (January 17) at 9 a.m. PST/12 p.m. EST.

Wavves with continue celebrating King of the Beach with a special purple kush vinyl. This variant features the original album art for the 2010 studio album, and it comes with a 7-inch featuring the tracks “Mutant” and “Stained Glass (Won't You Let Me Into Yr Heart),” which were both originally on the album’s Japanese release. Pre-orders for this package are live here.

Wavves have been working on the follow up to their 2017 studio album You're Welcome.
