Video game events are taking over Los Angeles this weekend
Los Angeles and video games have always gone hand and hand since the first E3 event back in 1995. Unfortunately, E3 is no longer around, but a slew of video game events are hitting up the region this weekend that will bring back the joys of the popular convention to the general public. Whether you're looking for the scoop on an upcoming title or trying to complete your gaming collection, there's something for gamers of all kinds.
Tomorrow (Friday, June 7) is the fifth installment of Summer Game Fest. Created and hosted by Geoff Keighley, the event was a way to showcase titles to gamers worldwide during the pandemic when it launched in 2020. This year's Summer Game Fest, which takes place at the YouTube Theater (1011 Stadium Drive) with a 2 p.m. start time, will find Keighley showcasing a slew of upcoming titles, including Metaphor: ReFantazio, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, and Delta Force: Hawk Ops.
Limited tickets for Summer Game Fest are still on sale here. The event will be streaming for fans worldwide on various services. More information about Summer Game Fest and where to stream the action can be found here.
That same day, IGN will debut its three-day event IGN Live.
