Vera Ellen releases "Joy" music video
New Zealand singer-songwriter Vera Ellen has dropped the music video for their single “Joy” today.
The visual, which can be seen below, was filmed on an iPhone by Al Kalyk at Ellen’s album release party in Los Angeles. The video also features footage of Ellen as a baby being held by their sister. Ellen said this about the song:
“I wrote ‘Joy’ for my nephews and nieces, who forgave me over and over for leaving them to pursue music, and who love me unconditionally. Children are magic.”
“Joy” is the final track from Ellen’s new studio album It’s Your Birthday, which is out right now via Flying Nun Records.
