Canadian producer/singer-songwriter Emily Krueger bka Velvettica has delivered their debut single "Telepathic Baddie" today.
The artist said this about the new song, which is out on digital services right now:
“Telepathic baddie is about more than just finishing each other's sentences; it’s knowing what each other is thinking without saying anything. Telepathic baddie was written very quickly. The day I wrote the song I had sat for a meditation, and shortly after was still silent and felt so much peace. I felt a soul-to-soul contact with a person who I knew was going to be my life partner. That person is now my husband. I met him through the place of my mind's eye and our souls had a conversation. We definitely can pretty much read each other's minds, and it’s from that deep soul-to-soul connection where words don’t even apply.”
"Telepathic Baddie" is the first taste of Velvettica’s debut EP Death, Sex & Inheritance, which is slated to be released this fall. The entire release was written and recorded by Krueger in their home studio. Krueger said this about the EP’s title:
“Death is the blissful transition and transformation into a new life, Sex is the merging of what you thought was separate, Inheritance is what we do with what we are given.”
