Trailer for forthcoming Dune movie has been released

The trailer for the highly anticipated Dune movie has finally been revealed today.
Seen below, the three minute visual is enhanced by Hans Zimmer’s cover of Pink Floyd’s "Eclipse." The film stars Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, and Javier Bardem.
Dune will hit theaters on December 18, 2020. This is the first of two planned Dune films based on the Frank Herbert’s iconic 1965 novel. In a feature with Vanity Fair, Dune director Denis Villeneuve stated, “I would not agree to make this adaptation of the book with one single movie. The world is too complex. It’s a world that takes its power in details.” A Dune spin-off TV series titled Dune: The Sisterhood is set to begin filming soon. The show will be released on HBO Max. Villeneuve will direct the show’s pilot episode.
