Trailer for 2D parkour game Parkour Legends released
A new trailer for upcoming 2D parkour game Parkour Legends has been unveiled.
In the trailer, which can be seen below, viewers can see how the side-scrolling parkour game plays out in various settings with moves such as rail sliding at the player’s disposal. As players traverse through the game, they can unlock various new moves and various clothing options. The game’s soundtrack features music from artists on Epidemic Sound such as Sarah, the Illstrumentalist, Brendon Moeller, Giants' Nest, and Dylan Sitts. Parkour Legends recently earned the Recognition for Game Development Achievement at the Chainsaw Game and Music Festival 2022.
A synopsis for the title reads:
Many recent 3D games have added parkour elements to make movement more fluid and exciting. But the upcoming 2D parkour game from solo dev studio, Enter Grip, is translating that parkour awesomeness into 2D, move-by-move and pixel-by-pixel. With dozens of parkour stunts at your disposal, Parkour Legends challenges you to approach each level with creativity. The ultimate goal? To complete time-trial levels as quickly as possible. To do so, you'll have to find the fastest routes using the most efficient moves.
Parkour Legends is slated to be released later this year. The game can be wishlisted on Steam right now.
