Toontown Online 20th Anniversary virtual panel announced for MomoCon 2023

Beloved MMORPG Toontown Online turns 20 this year, and some folks behind the game are reuniting for something special at this year’s MomoCon.
The original development team from Toontown Online will hold a special virtual panel discussing the history of the game. Titled Behind the Tooniverse: 20 Years of Toontown, the panel will feature Mike Goslin, Disney Online Vice President (2000-2009), Gyedo Jeon, Senior Programmer (2007-2013), Bridget Konopka, Associate Art Director (2003-2013), Shawn Patton, Design Director (2002, 2008-2009), Jesse Schell, Creative Director (2000-2005, 2008-2009), Joe Shochet, Creative Director (2003-2009), Ellen Steuer, Community Manager & Producer (2003-2008), and Regine Weiner, Community Support Lead (2003-2006).
Joey Ziolkowski, creative director of popular fan-made revival Toontown Rewritten said this about the panel:
"This year marks a unique milestone where Toontown Rewritten has been running as long as Toontown Online was before it closed. We're honored and humbled that so many of these esteemed developers are still invested in the Toontown community, and we can't wait to mark this special occasion by hearing from the team who made all of it possible."
Behind the Tooniverse: 20 Years of Toontown will go down on Thursday, May 25, at 8:30 PM EST both in person and on the MomoCon livestream.
During MomoCon, a special ToonFest celebrating Toontown Online and Toontown Rewritten will take place. More information about ToonFest can be found here.
MomoCon takes place from May 25 through May 28 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Tickets for MomoCon can be purchased here. More information about MomoCon can be found here.
