Though I Am an Inept Villainess gets English dub trailer
The English dub trailer for TOHO Animation’s Though I Am an Inept Villainess has been unveiled today.
The trailer, which can be seen below, showcases the newly announced English dub cast. The dub cast features Brianna Knickerbocker (Re − Starting Life in Another World, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Genshin Impact) as Kou Reirin, Rebecca Wang (Solo Leveling, Street Fighter 6, Fate/strange Fake) as Shu Keigetsu, Kaiji Tang (Jujutsu Kaisen, Bungo Stray Dogs, Like a Dragon) as Ei Gyoumei, Aleks Le (Solo Leveling, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Dandadan) as Shin-u, Lizzie Freeman (The Amazing Digital Circus, Lycoris Recoil, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind) as Leelee, and Mori Calliope (hololive English -Myth- VTuber and acclaimed singer-songwriter) as Kou Tousetsu.
A synopsis for Though I Am an Inept Villainess reads:
As maidens from the Five Clans battle for the Crown Prince’s heart, jealous Keigetsu uses forbidden magic to swap bodies with the beloved Reirin. Switching places does not guarantee happiness for Keigetsu with her new body's ill health leaving her hanging on the verge of death. Meanwhile, Reirin, now wearing the face of a scorned outcast, must answer for Keigetsu’s crimes in a dangerous trial.
The English dub for Though I Am an Inept Villainess will launch this Sunday (July 26) on Crunchyroll, Hulu, Disney+, and Netflix (Asia) at 8:45 a.m. PST. More information about the series can be found here.
