Thor and Friends to release '3' and '4' in September
Last year, experimental outfit Thor & Friends unveiled their albums 3 and 4 as part of Joyful Noise Recordings 2019 Artist in Residence collection. Now, these two releases will be publicly available on September 4.
Announced today, pre-orders for both records are available here. Both albums can be purchased separately or they can be bought as part of a bundle.
3 and 4 find Thor & Friends collaborating with a slew of of musicians. 3 finds the outfit working with Godspeed You! Black Emperor’s Thierry Amar and Tim Herzog, Wye Oak's Jenn Wasner, and Stine Janvin Motland. 4 has special appearances from Bill Callahan and Low’s Alan Sparhawk and Mimi Parker. The music video for “Mystery Train,” which features members of Low and Jolie Holland, can be seen below.
Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker.
