Theatrical dates for One Piece Film Red revealed
Crunchyroll has unveiled the theatrical release dates for the highly anticipated One Piece Film Red today.
The film will be released in Australia and New Zealand on November 3 and the United States and Canada on November 4. Tickers for the Australia and New Zealand screenings will go on sale on October 5 while tickets for North American screenings going on sale starting October 6.
Prior to its release, fans in Australia and North America can get an early glimpse of the film. On September 16, attendees at the sold-out Crunchyroll Expo Australia can catch the subbed version. On October 6, the North American premiere will be held in New York City to coincide with New York Comic Con.
The film’s synopsis reads:
Uta—the most beloved singer in the world whose voice has been described as "otherworldly"—is renowned for concealing her own identity when performing. Now, for the first time ever, she will reveal herself to the world at a live concert.
With the Navy watching closely, the venue fills with Uta's fans—including excited pirates and the Straw Hats led by Luffy, who simply came to enjoy her sonorous performance—all eagerly awaiting the voice that the whole world has been waiting for to resound. The story begins with the shocking revelation that she is the enigmatic Shanks' daughter.
