Mexico’s hard rock trio of sisters The Warning have dropped a new song today.

The track “Evolve” finds the band working with producer David Beneath, who is best known for their work with Paramore and Breaking Benjamin. The track’s accompanying music video, which can be seen below, was shot in just two hours with 16 iPhones and a drone.

The Warning said this about the new track:

“We wrote ‘EVOLVE’ about humanity’s dangerous obsession with evolving. And how sometimes that evolution leads us to slowly leave our humanity behind. Is this dehumanizing evolution right or wrong?”

“Evolve” is out on digital services right now via LAVA/Republic Records.

The Warning will be part of Metallica’s forthcoming album The Metallica Blacklist, which finds several acts covering Metallica classics. The band will cover “Enter Sandman,” which helped launch them into the public eye years ago.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
