The Super Mario Bros. Movie gets an earlier release date

The Super Mario Bros. Movie was originally slated for an April 7 release, but today, it was revealed that fans will be able to see it a bit earlier now.
The film will now be released in the United States and 60 other countries on April 5. The movie will hit theaters in Japan on April 28. More markets will screen the film in April and May.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie stars Chris Pratt as Super Mario with support from stars such as Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, and Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong. Voice talent Charles Martinet, who has been the voice of Super Mario in the video game franchise for 30 years, will appear in the movie in undisclosed roles.
