The String Cheese Incident to hold free New Year's Eve stream 'New Year's Cheese'
The String Cheese Incident will celebrate the end of 2020 with a special free livestream.
Announced today, the band will have their weekly Friday Night Cheese show on New Year’s Eve (Friday, December 31). The event, which is titled New Year’s Cheese, kicks off at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST with a special 20th anniversary airing of their 2001 concert film Evolution. At 10 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PST, the band will air their 2016 New Year’s Eve performance from 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colorado.
In a statement, the band said:
“We love seeing friends and family gather with us in CO to ring in the New Year, and even though we can’t be there with you in person this year, we are REALLY looking forward to saying goodbye to 2020 and welcoming 2021, when we can hopefully get back to playing live Incidents again!”
The entire seven-hour stream will take place on Nugs.TV.
