Alternative metal band The OddEven have unveiled their new single “Come Home” today.
The track arrives with a music video directed by Todd Stevens, which can be seen here. Bassist Jon Weed said this about the music video:
“The video for Come Home is about a woman making her way back home after straying/breaking up. While the guy may think getting back together with her is a move toward happiness again, she is the devil in disguise. This is the first single we released with aggressive alternative/hard rock, power ballad sensibility. The message to fans is to always be careful going back to something that was toxic in the past, because there is a very good chance that the second time around will be worse than the first… Unless you are prepared to dance with the devil, you should run the other way as quickly as possible!”
“Come Home” is the first single from The OddEven’s forthcoming album Outer Space Outtakes, which will be released on March 14 via Eclipse Records. The album was co-produced by Weed and guitarist E.T. alongside Frank Marchand (Fiona Apple, Nils Lofgren) at Waterford Digital. Pre-saves for the record can be made here.
