The Mars Volta release new song “Blacklight Shine," announce 2022 North American tour
The Mars Volta are making a comeback in 2022.
The band unveiled their first new music in 10 years with the single “Blacklight Shine.” An accompanying music video, which can be seen here, was directed by The Mars Volta’s Omar Rodríguez López. The single is available on digital services right now.
Yesterday, The Mars Volta announced plans for their first North America tour since supporting 2012’s Noctourniquet. The trek kicks off on September 23 inside The Factory in Deep Ellum in Dallas, and it’ll conclude with a performance at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium on October 21.
Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday (June 24) at 10 a.m. local time. Pre-sale tickets are live right now.
