The Indie Premier Showcase announced

A new indie game showcase is set to launch this summer.
Announced today, The Indie Premier Showcase is a hybrid digital and physical game showcase set to arrive in July. An announcement video can be seen below. Game submissions will go live later this month. Awards will be given in four categories: Grand Indie Champ (Honoring the standout title of the showcase across all dimensions), Gameplay Mastery (Recognizing exceptional mechanics, design, and player experience), Visual Virtuoso (Celebrating outstanding artistry, aesthetics, and visual design), Master Mix Award (Awarded for excellence in audio design, sound, and music).
A description of The Indie Premier Showcase reads:
The Indie Premier is a showcase built for the future of indie gaming—highlighting titles on the radar for game developers and fans alike. We scan the global landscape to find the signal in the noise, spotlighting the next generation of play.
We provide a game showcase for creators to show off their games and for game enthusiasts to discover them.
This event is organized in partnership with Unity® PGH and serves as a curated platform to showcase indie games from around the world.
The showcase will take place in both digital and physical formats, allowing for greater reach and engagement with attendees. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their games in person and online. This hybrid format maximizes interaction and visibility for the showcased titles, and participants will have the chance to compete for both physical trophies and digital award laurels.
Press play on the future of indie.
