The House of Love touring North America for the first time since 1992

English rock group The House of Love will make a rare appearance in North America this spring.

Announced today, their trek kicks off on May 6 inside Gramercy Theater in New York City, and it’ll conclude with a gig inside The Palace Theater in Los Angeles. This trek celebrates the 30th anniversary of their self-titled sophomore album, which spawned the hit singles “I Don’t Know Why I Love You” and a re-recording of their debut single “Shine On.”

In a statement, frontman Gun Chadwick said, “Over the years, we have had many offers to come to North America, but I have sadly never been able to persuade the band, which is why I have put together a fantastic new band of great musicians to do this tour  - and it sounds like vintage House of Love!”

Tickets for the trek go on sale tomorrow (January 15) at 12 p.m. PST.
