The Gayming Awards 2021 arrives on Twitch on February 24th
Gayming Magazine’s inaugural Gayming Awards, which is presented by EA, will debut on Twitch early next year.
Announced today, the festival, which celebrates LGBTQ representation in gaming, will head to the streaming platform on February 24 at 3 p.m. EST/12 p.m. PST. British comedian Suzi Ruffell, who was nominated for a British LGBT Award this year, will host the event.
In a statement, Twitch’s Head of Community and Creator Marketing Erin Wayne said:
“Twitch is a place where people from all walks of life come together to share experiences and build community. The LGTBQIA+ community is one of the most passionate, welcoming, and engaging communities on Twitch and we are proud to support and recognize their achievements. We look forward to being the home for this year’s Gayming Awards, as well as presenting the award for the LGBTQ Streamer of the Year."
Various sponsors, including Xbox and PlayStation, will be behind each award category. You can check out the award categories below.
