The Dillinger Escape Plan add 'Calculating Infinity' 25th anniversary show in Chicago
The Dillinger Escape Plan will bring their Calculating Infinity 25th anniversary celebration to the Windy City.
Announced today, the band will perform at the 5,000 capacity Salt Shed Outdoors in Chicago on Saturday, August 24. Joining the band for their biggest headlining show ever as support are The World is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die and NO MEN.
Tickets for this show will go on sale to the general public this Friday (March 15) at 10 a.m. CST here. Salt Shed Online pre-sale tickets will go live on Wednesday (March 13) at 10 a.m. CST.
The band said this about the Chicago show:
“When first announcing the Calculating 25 anniversary SHOW in Brooklyn, we could have never imagined the response. It just goes to show you that the Dillinger Escape Plan is not just a band of 5 dudes, but a force that embodies so many different elements, including the passion of all of our followers. That said, the announcement of our warm-up set at No Values Fest in Pomona has brought a lot of requests, particularly in reference to us not forgetting about the Midwest. So here you go, folks. Our biggest headline show in history, at one of the coolest new venues in the world!”
The Dillinger Escape Plan’s Chicago show will follow a packed June schedule featuring an appearance at Pomona’s No Values Festival and a trio of sold-out shows in Brooklyn Paramount where the band will perform Calculating Infinity in its entirety.
