Los Angeles always has a plethora of events going down at every corner. Whether it’s a convention or some improv, there’s always something to do if you’re looking to leave the house. We look at some of the best events going down in Los Angeles this week (September 14 - September 20).

Thursday, September 17

Iguana Death Cult @ Zebulon (2478 Fletcher Dr.)

Doors: 8 p.m. (tickets)

Dutch rock band Iguana Death Cult will be in town to promote their new studio album Guns Out, which was released back in April via Greenway Records/The Reverberation Appreciation Society. Los Angeles' Flat Worms will be the opening act.

Saturday, September 19

LAMIF @ The Clubhouse (1607 N Vermont Ave.) and WGIS (1615 N. Vermont Ave.)

Doors: 11:15 a.m. (free to the public)

The second annual LAMIF (Los Angeles Musical Improv Festival) will take place at both The Clubhouse/Treehouse and WGIS a few feet away. The event will feature a slew of musical improv from teams such as SIS-Prov, Candy Apple Red, Opera Punks, All Show No Boat, and Once Upon A Rhyme. The event is free to the public, but donations are appreciated.

Rock and Roll Flea Market @ Regent Theater (448 S Main St)

Doors: 11 a.m. (free RSVP)

Regent Theater will host the Rock and Roll Flea Market, which offers a selection of vinyl, vintage goods, and much more. Aside from adding to your vinyl collection, the event will feature tattoo artists, food, DJ sets, and drinks.

Sunday, September 20

PRISM : An Underground Rollerdome @ 1720 (1720 E 16th St.)

Doors: 8 p.m. (tickets) 18+

If you're down for some rollerskating, 1720 is the place to be for PRISM : An Underground Rollerdome. Aside from skating and full bar and food provided by Diehard Tacos, there will be a DJ set from DJ Aplus.

Darling and Moxie @ The Pack Theater (1615 North Vermont Ave.)

Doors: 8:50 p.m. (tickets)

Pack Theater house sketch teams Darling and Moxie join forces for a night of comedy at the Los Feliz space. Darling features Alisa Boland, Andrew Dahlquist, Jared Hounshell, Jacob Kennelly, Steph Philo, Mikey Reid, Jacky Tran, Owen Matthew Welsh, Annika Wines, and Claire Young. Moxie includes Jupiter Baudot, Bryan Philip Cruz, Rebecca Del Sesto, William Scott Evans, Matt Harbert, Brigid Marshall, Lauri Roggenkamp, Peter Rambo, Hannah Singer, Julian Vlcan, Jackie Winn, and Diana Witt.
