Wednesday, May 13

Wake Up Becky @ UCB Theatre (5919 Franklin Ave.)

Wake Up Becky brings together a slew of stand-up comedians to tackle serious issues through comedy and a special roundtable discussion. Comedians slated for Wednesday's show are Francesca Ramsey, Heather Gardner, Emily James, Lina Green, Bernice Ye, Ray Lau, and TEHRAN. Livestream tickets are also available.

Thursday, May 14

Pillow Fort Cinema Club @ The Pack Theater (1615 North Vermont Ave.)

Pillow Fort Cinema Club makes its return to The Pack Theater this Thursday. Co-hosted by Jupiter Baudot (writer for Game Grumps’ Ten Minute Power Hour) and Jackie Winn, Pillow Fort Cinema Club is a cross between Mystery Science Theater 3000 and a slumber party. Thursday's show will celebrate the birthdays of Baudot's chihuahua Duke Nukem and Winn.


Friday, May 15

Rollin’ With My Homies @ UCB Theatre (5919 Franklin Ave.)

Co-hosted by Nolan Purvis & Santina Muha, Rollin’ With My Homies features improvisers tackling scenes while in wheelchairs. The cast for Friday's show includes Payam Banifaz, May Darmon, Shakira Paye, and Paul F. Tompkins with special guest Danielle Perez. Livestream tickets are also available.


Saturday, May 16

Spectacular @ Dynasty Typewriter (2511 Wilshire Blvd)
Doors: 6 p.m. (tickets) 18+

Dynasty Typewriter will host Spectacular, which is a TV pilot about the creation of the Spider-Man musical Turn Off the Dark. The cast for this event includes Ben Feldman (Superstore; Long Story Short), Iman Vellani (Miss Marvel), Melissa Benoist (Supergirl; The Waterfront), and Gabriel Luna (The Last of Us; Agents of SHIELD). Zipangu: Japanese Music Event 2026 @ Brookside at the Rose Bowl (1133 Rosemont Ave.)
Doors: 3:30 p.m. (tickets)

Zipangu will bring together a slew of Japanese artists to the Brookside at the Rose Bowl. Headlined by Ado, the one-day event will also feature performances from Atarashii Gakko!, Chanmina, Hana, Man With A Mission, Yuki Chiba, and 10-Feet.
