Los Angeles always has a plethora of events going down at every corner. Whether it’s a convention or some improv, there’s always something to do if you’re looking to leave the house. We look at some of the best events going down in Los Angeles this week (June 22 through June 28).

Wednesday, June 24

Bôa @ The Bellwether (333 S. Boylston St.)
Doors: 7 p.m. (tickets)

English alternative rock band Bôa will make their return to Los Angeles this Wednesday, and tickets are running low for their performance at The Bellwether. The band have been touring in support of their latest album Whiplash. Dead Sullivan will be the opening act.

Bedhead and Umami @ The Pack Theater (1615 North Vermont Ave.)
Doors: 8:50 p.m. (tickets)

Pack Theater sketch teams Bedhead and Umami will bring some hilarious sketches on Wednesday. Bedhead features Jon Barr, Cole Elliott, Warren Elliott, PJ Fahrenkrug, Ally Johnson, Lauren Koch, Rory Kulz, Gabe Legg, Matt Sellek, Jovita Trujilio, and Joslin Underhill. Umami features Joel Anderson, Kiersten Armstrong, Andrew Bond, Cami Buckman, Stephen Cannon, Mike Hughes, Sophie Hadingham, Filipa Ioannou, Ben Kaplan, Ravi Kiran, Oscar Ramirez, Emily Serruto, and Shira Wilson.

Ultimate Improv Show @ Dynasty Typewriter (2511 Wilshire Blvd.)

Ultimate Improv Show brings some of the best names in improv to Dynasty Typewriter. This week's show features a special guest monologue from Euphoria's Chloe Cherry. The cast for Ultimate Improv Show features Dan Black, Mary Holland, Carl Tart, Jon Gabrus, Paul Welsh, Tim Baltz, Brandon Scott Jones, and Andrew Dismukes. Livestream tickets are also available.

Sunday, June 28

Are They Gay? @ UCB Theatre (5919 Franklin Ave.)
Doors: 3:50 p.m. (tickets)

UCB Theatre will close out Pride Month with a slew of LGBTQ programming on Sunday. Are They Gay? will determine if your favorite fictional characters are, in fact, gay. Jess Svendsgaard, Jesse Esparza, and Joan Ford will be the ones making the tough decisions.

Comedian Clash @ The Elysian (1944 Riverside Dr.)
Doors: 6 p.m. (tickets)

Hosted by Jacquis Neal, Comedian Clash will bring together two teams of funny people to compete in a game show. Six random audience members will have the chance to join the action alongside the competitors. This week's show will see Milana Vayntrub and Carl Tart teaming up against Caitlin Reilly and Corin Wells. There will also be stand-up comedy from Raphael Chestang.
