Los Angeles always has a plethora of events going down at every corner. Whether it’s a convention or some local stand-up comedy, there’s always something to do if you’re looking to leave the house. We look at some of the best events going down in Los Angeles this week (February 23 through March 1).
Wednesday, February 25
Deuces Wild Improv @ The Clubhouse (1607 North Vermont Ave.)
Doors: 7:45 p.m. (free)
Deuces Wild Improv will bring another evening of two-person improv at The Clubhouse. Improv pairs slated for Wednesday's show include Andrew Coppola and Eli Lloyd, Jenn Bologna and Nathaniel Rosenberg, Gabi Marler and Jade Lacy, and Ivan Ngo and Trent Dozier. While the show is free to the public, donations are encouraged.
Thursday, February 26
F**k This Month @ UCB Theatre (5919 Franklin Ave.)

Improv group F**k This Month will transform your bad month into an exciting improv performance. The full lineup for Thursday’s show will be revealed soon. Livestream tickets are also available.
Miss Trezz @ Gold-Diggers (5632 Santa Monica Blvd.)
Doors: 10 p.m. (tickets) 21+
L.A. dark-pop artist Miss Trezz will hold the Rebel Muse record release show at Gold-Diggers. The show will also feature performances from Georgi, Caress, and Battyna Sin.
Friday, February 27
Horror Nerd Comedy @ 415 E Orange Grove Blvd

Hosted by Samantha Hale, Horror Nerd Comedy finds comics discussing their favorite things about horror films. In some situations, they tell jokes at a former mortuary! This week's event will feature a special set from Dana Gould, who created the horror-comedy series Stan Against Evil and appeared in the horror anthology films Tales of Halloween and Southbound. Other comedians slated to appear are Erin Cholakian, Brian Jacobovitz, Sophia Zolan, Tommy Spears, Elyssa Phillips, Meryl Klemow, and Jon Schnitzer.
Single Riders Only @ Dynasty Typewriter (2511 Wilshire Blvd.)
Doors: 10 p.m. (tickets) 18+
Sketch comedy show Single Riders Only dives into the world of those single and ready to mingle. Kahyun Kim, who is best known for their work in St. Denis Medical and Cocaine Bear, will be the special guest for the night. Niles Abston will also deliver some stand-up comedy.
Saturday, February 28
Kickball @ The Pack Theater (1615 North Vermont Ave.)

Pack Theater house sketch comedy team Kickball will do something completely different this Saturday by delivering a musical. Kickball features Sam Crichton, Lani Engstrom, Raegan Harris, Claude Hurd, Riley McGrath, Chris Morris, Christian B. Schmidt, Gabriel Valdez, Hollis Westling, and April Yanko.
The Maury Springer Raphael Show: ’90s Trash Live! @ UCB Theatre (5919 Franklin Ave.)

If you miss the antics of daytime talk shows of the 90s, James Mastraieni and Ryan Meharry will bring the madness to UCB Theatre with The Maury Springer Raphael Show: ’90s Trash Live. The full cast will be revealed soon. Livestream tickets are also available.
Sunday, March 1
Tao of Comedy Showcase @ Tao Comedy Studio (131 South Western Ave.)

The Tao of Comedy Showcase will deliver comedic sets from recent graduates of Bobbie Oliver's Tao of Comedy workshops. Comedians set to appear include Vicky Sem, CT Adams, and June Jones.
Future Fusion @ The Virgil (4519 Santa Monica Blvd.)
Doors: 8 p.m. (tickets) 21+
Redacted Collective's Future Fusion event will deliver a handful of live musical acts inspired by video game and anime soundtracks. Emma Aibara, Sennoh, Spinecrusher, and Eric Andre will perform. Y2K and cosplay attire is encouraged for this nostalgic trip.
Dreamboat and Room Service @ Pack Theater (1615 North Vermont Ave.)

Pack Theater house sketch teams Dreamboat and Room Service will join forces for a plethora of hilarious sketch comedy. Dreamboat features Phil Binder, Niv Brook, Sara Brown, Florentino Carrillo, Jeannie Ceglar, Michelle Driscoll, Jessica Drolet, Connor Hurley, Diana Jannuzzi, Dominique Johnson, Briana Jones, Adrian Lara, and Michael Skarsten. Room Service features Mads Benn, Nick Grimes, Max Kliman, Jasmine Kojouri, Andrea Lewis, Kelli Massey, Megan McKenzie, Jack Olstad, Rocco Polanco, JD Ramage, Aziza Stewart, Salil Subbakrishna, and Samantha Turret.

Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
