Los Angeles always has a plethora of events going down at every corner. Whether it’s a convention or some local stand-up comedy, there’s always something to do if you’re looking to leave the house. We look at some of the best events going down in Los Angeles this week (December 22 through December 28). Happy holidays!

Monday December 22

The Classy Bassi Show @ The Oaks Tavern (13625 Moorpark St.)
Doors: 7 p.m. (free) 21+

Comedian Jake Bassi will deliver the final Classy Bassi show of 2025 at The Oaks Tavern. The show will feature stand-up comedy from Eryn Guyvette, Dave Ppl, Brian Smight, Dominic Barba, Sarah Shtern, John Hastings, and Christina DiBiase. There's no cover charge for this hilarious event. Karaoke will go down afterwards. Dressing classy is optional.

Wednesday, December 24

Emo Karaoke @ Remix Room (6423 Yucca St.)
Doors: 9 p.m. (tickets) 21+

After wrapping those Christmas presents, head to the Remix Room to belt our your favorite emo songs at Emo Karaoke. If that's not enough, your admission ticket also comes with one cocktail. You can choose between the Welcome To the Black Parade Espresso Martini or the Drink 182 Hot Chocolate Cocktail.

A Very Jewish Christmas @ The Comedy Store (Main Room) (8433 Sunset Blvd.)

A few tickets are left for A Very Jewish Christmas at The Comedy Store. Jewish comedians such as Jeff Garlin, Pauly Shore, Frankie Quinones, Jeff Dye, and Taylor Williamson will deliver some laughs on Christmas Day. All tickets come with a complimentary plate of Chinese food.

Friday, December 26

Robot Karaoke @ The Elysian (Skunk Room) (1944 Riverside Dr.)
Doors: 7:30 p.m. (tickets)

If you're looking for a wild karaoke time, head to The Elysian for Robot Karaoke. The event allows singers to combine melodies of popular songs with specific prompts to deliver a new song on the fly. You might sing about 2025 tax returns to the tune of Britney Spears' "Womanizer" or deliver a rousing performance with a song about cooking dinner to the tune of Foo Fighters' "My Hero."

Saturday, December 27

F**k This Year @ UCB Theatre (5919 Franklin Ave.)

Popular improv group F**k This Month will end 2025 by giving the year the middle finger with Fk This Year. The cast for F**k This Year features Jeremy Culhane, Ify Nwadiwe, Katie Marovitch, Corin Wells, Chris Renfro, Lauren Knutti, Eli Gonzalez, and Jeff Whitaker. Livestream tickets are also available.
