Tuesday, September 1

Don't Stop Or We'll Die @ Lodge Room (104 N Ave 56 2nd floor)

Doors: 7 p.m. (tickets)

Don’t Stop Or We’ll Die will have a special hometown show at Lodge Room this week. Scott Aukerman will be the special guest for their set. Lamar Woods (w/ DJ Ahsohn) and Bug Mane will be the opening acts. Don't Stop Or We'll Die features Paul Rust and Michael Cassady (songwriters for LOVE on Netflix, Central Park on Apple+) along with musicians Tony Thaxton (Motion City Soundtrack) and Emeen Zarookian (The Monkees Farewell Tour, Spirit Kid).

Thursday, September 3

Pallbearer, Ordh @ The Echoplex (1822 W Sunset Blvd.)

Doors: 7p.m. (tickets)

Doom metal band Pallbearer will make their way to The Echo to perform their 2014 studio album Foundations of Burden in full. The band's latest studio album was 2024's Mind Burns Alive. Ordh will be the opening act.

Friday, September 4

The Packening @ The Pack Theater (1615 N. Vermont Ave.)

Doors: 6:50 p.m. (tickets)

This Labor Day Weekend, The Pack Theater will host their four-day comedy event known as The Packening. A slew improv, sketch, stand-up, clown, and character shows will go down. Four-day, single-day, and individual tickets for shows are on sale to the general public right now.

Saturday, September 5

Nitzer Ebb, Lead Into Gold @ El Rey Theatre (5515 Wilshire Blvd.)

Doors: 7:30 p.m. (tickets)

Beloved EBM act Nitzer Ebb returns to Los Angeles on tour with a performance at El Rey Theatre. Nitzer Ebb's music has been featured in Grand Theft Auto IV, Tony Hawk: Ride, and the Saw film series. Lead Into Gold, which features former Ministry bassist Paul Barker, will be the opening act.

Wildly Appropriate: An All-Ages Improv Show @ UCB Theatre (5919 Franklin Ave.)

Doors: 5:15 p.m. (tickets)

If you're looking for a more family-friendly improv show, UCB Theatre is the place to be for Wildly Appropriate: An All-Ages Improv Show. Co-hosted by seven-year-old Mae Tarica Fernie as well as Deborah Tarica and Alex Fernie, the show will allow kids from the audience to hop onto the stage to do improv. Saturday's show will feature special guests Nnamdi Ngwe, Isabella Escalante, and Greg Tuculescu.
