With Halloween coming up on Sunday, many people are looking to safely enjoy rocking the finest costumes with their friends. Fortunately, there’s a slew of events happening for anyone’s taste. From wrestling to standup comedy, these Los Angeles events are some of the best going down this Halloween weekend.
Friday, October 29
Faded Comedy @ Lounge On Melrose (7:30 p.m.) (tickets)
Every Friday, Faded Comedy brings some of the best comedians around to deliver an evening filled with laughter. Previous shows have sold out, so be sure to grab your ticket ASAP.
The Lox @ The Novo (8 p.m.) (tickets)
NYC hip-hop group The Lox will pay Los Angeles a visit with a performance at The Novo. Last year, the group released their fourth studio album Living Off Xperience, which features appearances from T-Pain, Jeremih, and Benny the Butcher.
Saturday, October 30
Death Row Records’ 30th Anniversary IPA Release Party @ Boomtown Brewery (3 p.m.) (free to attend)
Iconic hip-hop record label Death Row Records will celebrate their 30th anniversary with the release of their new IPA. During the event, DJs will drop some of Death Rose Records' most beloved jams. The event will be family friendly until 7 p.m. Attendees ages 21 and over will only be allowed after 7 p.m. for night festivities.
Luchador presents Halloween Live Wrestling Show @ Atrium (5 p.m.) (free to attend, 21+)
Cannabis brand Luchador will deliver some squared circle action with their Halloween wrestling show. Over 20 wrestlers will be on hand for some exciting matches, including a title match for the Heavyweight Champion of Cannabis. The full card will be unveiled soon.
Jinjer, Suicide Silence @ The Belasco (6 p.m.) (tickets)
Ukranian metal act Jinjer will headline The Belasco in support of their new studio album Wallflowers. Suicide Silence, who are plugging their latest album Become the Hunter, and All Hail The Yeti, who will unveil their new EP titled Within The Hollow Earth on November 12, will also perform.
Xentrifuge, Vertigo Shock @ The Stardust Club (9:30 p.m.) (tickets, 21+)
Klub Terminal takes over The Stardust Club for their Halloween celebration with performances from New Jersey act Xentrifuge, who will be promoting their new album In A Shattered Mirror, and Los Angeles’ own Vertigo Shock. Alongside special guest DJ Malice Vext, DJs Terminal, Revenant, and Terror will spin the best in industrial, darkwave, goth, and EBM.
Sunday, October 31
Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Live @ Banc of California Stadium (6:30 p.m.) (tickets)
Danny Elfman will bring their beloved Nightmare Before Christmas live-to-film experience to Banc of California Stadium. Billie Eilish and Weird Al Yankovic will join the festivities as special guests.
Twin Temple @ Fonda Theatre (8 p.m.) (tickets)
Satanic doo-wop group Twin Temple are having a hometown gig at Fonda Theatre, and tickets are going low. The band will be touring with Ghost and Volbeat next year. Louisiana Purchase will be the opening act.
