Techland delays Dying Light 2

Fans of 2015's Dying Light have been waiting for its sequel, which was originally slated for a release this spring. Yesterday, Techland revealed they’re delaying the game to continue working on it. “We were initially aiming for a Spring 2020 release with Dying Light 2, but unfortunately we need more development time to fulfill our vision. Our priority is to deliver an experience that lives up to our own high standards and to the expectations of you, our fans,” Techland CEO Pawel Marchewka said in a statement.

As of this writing, there’s no planned release window for Dying Light 2. With E3 coming in June, Techland can make the official announcement at the convention. Dying Light 2 will be distributed by Square Enix, who already delayed Marvel's Avengers and the Final Fantasy 7 remake last week.
