The Forever Halloween Ball will take place on Halloween, and it’ll find the band performing their beloved album in its entirety. “The Forever Halloween Ball is going to be the party we have all been waiting for. Performing that album in full on Halloween just seems meant to be! We are excited that we will be able to share this experience with everyone around the world,” drummer Pat Kirch said in a statement. Aside from the album, the band will perform a slew of fan favorites. There will also be a Q&A session with the band and a special cosplay contest. The livestream will begin at 7 p.m. EST/4 p.m. PST.
The only way to watch this performance is through the band’s membership-based app Pillar. Fans with a subscription will watch the concert for free. People without a subscription can purchase a ticket to view the event here.
The Maine are working on the follow up to 2019’s You Are OK, which topped the Independent Albums chart and peaked at number five on the Top Rock Albums chart. Over the summer, the band moved their 8123 Fest to March 2021.
Arizona rock group The Maine have announced new dates for 8123 Fest next year.
Revealed today, the 2021 installment of 8123 Fest will take place from March 25 - March 29. The festival was originally slated for January. In a joint statement, the band said:
8123 Fest is about family. It has and always will be. With that said, we want to make sure all members of the 8123 Family can join us to celebrate and connect at 8123 Fest 2021.
Due to the current pandemic, we have made the hard decision to move 8123 Fest 2021 back to March 27th, 2021. The new festival event dates will now range from March 25th - 29th with the proper festival events taking place on March 26th (pre-show) and 27th (festival day).
We feel like this will allow for a safer environment for the 8123 family members, festival workers and allow for a more personal experience. Also, we are working on several protocols to help create a safe environment for everyone in attendance. We are and will continue to follow the current state of the pandemic.
If you have not purchased a ticket, you can buy early-bird tickets now before festival event prices increase in the fall.
If you have already purchased a ticket to the festival, your ticket will be honored for the newly scheduled weekend.
We love you all and can't wait to be back. This will be our first concert back in over a year and a half. It's going to be an amazing experience to sing with you all again.
Early bird tickets are on sale right now. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this fall. The lineup will also be announced in the fall.
