Shonen Knife release music video for “Sweet Candy Power," announce North American tour

Earlier this month, Japanese pop punk band Shonen Knife unveiled their 21st studio album Sweet Candy Power. If you’ve wanted to see them perform the new material live, you’ll have your chance this fall.

Announced on Tuesday, the band will start their trek inside Los Angeles’ Bootleg Theater on August 23. They’ll head across the country before ending things inside Pittsburgh’s Cattivo on October 5. During the tour, Shonen Knife will open for Black Flag inside Dallas’ Gas Monkey Live! on September 14.
