SWAPMEAT will have a playable demo at PAX East 2025

Attendees at PAX East 2025 will be able to play a brand-new shooter from a team of industry vets.

Today, game studio One More Game revealed that their forthcoming co-op roguelite third-person shooter SWAPMEAT will have a playable demo at the event. One More Game is a studio featuring folks who worked on games such as Warcraft, Diablo, League of Legends, and Guild Wars. One More Game’s booth will be featured at Hall B - Booth #13085.

A synopsis for SWAPMEAT reads:

SWAPMEAT is a co-op roguelite third-person shooter where you drop onto a series of increasingly challenging planets and engage in combat with the unfriendly locals, swapping body parts with the alien weirdos you defeat. Attach a wide swath of strange (and usually squishy) heads, legs and torsos to your Meat Scientist suit, gaining powerful abilities to change up your play style on the fly.

Loot defeated enemies for fresh meat to top off your HP and fine-tune your arsenal of abilities as you face down the next wave of weirdos.

SWAPMEAT is slated for a PC release via Steam. The game can be wishlisted right now here. More information about the game can be found on its website.

Four-day and single-day badges for PAX East are on sale to the general public here. A limited number of four-day and Saturday badges are available right now. PAX East will run from Thursday, May 8 through Sunday, May 11 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston.
