Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League delayed to February 2024
The forthcoming action-adventure game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been delayed again.
Revealed yesterday, the game, which was originally planned for a May 26 release, is now arriving on February 2, 2024. A statement from Rocksteady Studios says:
"We have made the tough but necessary decision to take the time needed to work on getting the game to be the best quality experience for players. Thank you to our amazing community for the continued support, patience, and understanding. There is much more to share in the months ahead and we look forward to seeing you in Metropolis next year."
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was originally planned for a 2022 release before being moved to May 2023. A five-issue limited comic book prequel series titled Suicide Squad: Kill Arkham Asylum is still planned for a May 30 release. Each print issue is slated to arrive with a code for an in-game cosmetic item. A synopsis for the series reads:
In this five-issue limited series, Amanda Waller has taken control of the recently rebuilt Arkham Asylum, and her brutal tactics and merciless methods have led to the most secure facility Gotham City has ever seen. But remember that this is Amanda Waller, and she’s always got an angle. Arkham is part of her latest “recruitment drive,” and she’s looking for the strongest, smartest, and most brutal inmates in the asylum to serve her as new members of Task Force X.
